The Regional Air Quality Council has created a document, The SIP Planning Process and Colorado SIP Summaries, to provide an overview of the Clean Air Act's (CAA) Requirements for state implementation plan development and approval for the Denver Metro Area (DMA), as well as a historical summary of the Colorado SIPs by pollutant.  To view full versions of the SIPs, select the pollutant from the drop down menu above.

  • EPA published the Final Rule and the Proposed Rule for the approval of the Carbon Monoxide Revised Maintenance Plan and Redesignation  Request (using Mobile 6.2) for the Metropolitan Denver area  in the Federal Register 69 FR 55752  and 69 FR 55790, respectively, September 16, 2004. The Direct Final Rule will become Federally-effective on November 15, 2004.
  • Carbon Monoxide Maintenance Plan Approved by the AQCC on June 19, 2003
