Electrified Food Truck Demonstration Event

On Earth Day 2025, join the Regional Air Quality Council to learn about food truck electrification!

Between 11:00 and 2:00pm, electrified food trucks will be vending free lunch and answering questions about food truck electrification at Town Hall Collaborative. Companies that manufacture, install, or sell equipment to electrify food trucks, such as RV Solar Connections, Ace Hardware, and Joule Case, will be present to provide information about the cost and process of electrification. Non-profit groups that offer free sustainability training for food trucks and grant programs to upgrade low-efficiency appliances will also be present.

For food truck owners that decide they want to electrify their trucks, the RAQC’s Engines Off grant program manager will be available to answer questions about the food truck electrification grant. The grant can pay for up to 80% of the cost of electrification up to $20,000. There will also be an opportunity for food truck owners to quick apply for the grant.
