Control Strategy Committee: Oil & Gas Technical Work Group

This is the RAQC’s technical working group to develop specific emissions control strategy white papers for RAQC board consideration.  The following topics were recent areas of focus:  Flaring minimization, episodic emissions, zero-emitting pneumatic controllers and emission offsets or aggregation of wellhead and production facility equipment when permitting oil and gas minor sources. The work group is currently on hold after the submission of documentation to the Air Pollution Control Division in August 2024 for two control concepts developed and discussed in the workgroup: Episodic Emissions (Venting and Blowdowns) and Existing Pneumatic Controllers.
