Doran Azari

Doran Azari is a school board director (elected 2023) for the Greeley-Evans Weld County School District 6 where he is the board liaison to the District’s Wellness Committee and the Student Health Advisory Council. Mr. Azari taught for over 30 years in the school district at many of the secondary schools. In addition to his school board work, Mr. Azari is a commissioner with the Greeley Historic Preservation Commission and a member of the Union Colony Civic Center Advisory Board. Mr. Azari has also served on the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Community Advisory Committee. Prior to his educational and public service career, Doran Azari was an officer in the Colorado Army National Guard. He serves on the Regional Air Quality Council as a representative of local government in Weld County.
