Patrick Cummins

Patrick Cummins is the Director of Environmental Health and Protection at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). He provides executive oversight of CDPHE’s environmental programs, including the Division of Environmental Health and Sustainability, the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division, the Water Quality Control Division, and Colorado’s environmental boards and commissions. Patrick brings 40 years of experience in environmental policy, clean energy, and air quality. He’s served in leadership roles with the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission, the Western Governors’ Association, the Western Climate Initiative, Western Regional Air Partnership, Regional Air Quality Council, and the Center for the New Energy Economy at Colorado State University. He serves on the RAQC as the alternate for CDPHE.
