Ethan Aumann

Ethan Aumann is the senior director of environmental issues and resiliency at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA). Prior to his current role, Ethan was an environmental specialist for the federal government, focusing on energy, land use, and air quality projects, and an engineer for the California Air Resources Board. He has a B.A. in chemistry from Whitman College and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in environmental engineering and sciences from Stanford University. He serves on the Regional Air Quality Council as a representative of the business community. His term expires April 20, 2026.
