Jason Chan

Jason Chan is the Director of Planning Development and Strategy for WM. WM is North America’s leading provider of integrated environmental solutions, partnering with its customers and communities to manage and reduce waste from collection to disposal while recovering valuable resources and creating clean, renewable energy, as well as, reducing customers long-term liabilities. Mr. Chan has strategy and planning responsibility over a vast area including AZ, CO, NM, UT, WY, and TX, which includes all aspects of the waste industry. He has been employed in the waste industry for over 25 years and has vast experience in the waste and oil/gas industry including environmental management, marketing, transportation logistics, economics, funding, risk management, acquisitions, venturing, land management, project finance, engineering, permitting, disposal, liability reduction, regulatory compliance, and indemnification.

Mr. Chan holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies – Water Resources – Geology – Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
