Local Agency Air Quality Projects Grant Pool

A funding program to help local governments develop & implement programs that result in benefits to air quality

The Program

The Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) is pleased to announce the Local Agency Air Quality Projects Grant Pool (LAAQPGP).  The purpose of the LAAQPGP is to provide funding to local governments and local agencies for the development and implementation of programs that result in benefits to air quality.  Programs should focus on ground level ozone pollution; although projects addressing other pollutants are also eligible.  The grant pool funds will be allocated and administered by the RAQC.

PROJECT RECIPIENTS: Round 1

Four projects were chosen for the 2016-2017 contract period, with a total funding allocation of $289,800.00.  For an overview of each project, please click here.

  • City of Wheat Ridge – Street Sweeper  ($75,000)
  • City of Lakewood /Bicycle Colorado – Mobility Education and Encouragement in Lakewood  ($78,800)
  • Boulder County – Real-Time Information Marketing Program  ($56,000)
  • Boulder County – Free Fare Promotion – East Boulder County  ($80,000)
