The RAQC has been working with State agencies, local governments, industry, environmental groups, citizens and other interested parties to develop a State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the 2008 8-Hour Ozone Standard for the Denver/North Front Range Ozone Nonattainment area.  All the work is posted by date under  Subcommittee Information and/or Board Meetings, when discussed. In an effort to make access easier, the RAQC has created a page under its “Our Programs” tab for State Implementation Plans which includes hyperlinks to the process components and the documentation provided throughout the process.  This page can also be accessed through the Current SIP Efforts link located on the front page within the Next Board Meeting box.

The RAQC anticipates Board approval and endorsement of a plan at its late June meeting (date TBD).  The SIP will then be submitted to the Air Quality Control Commission with a Request for Hearing on July 21, 2016.
