RAQC Staff Featured On Larimer County Podcast, Healthier Together

Updated: June 25, 2026

Ground-level ozone is Larimer County’s most pressing air quality issue, which reaches unhealthy levels in the summer months. Larimer County is also part of the Colorado Front Range Ozone Nonattainment Area, in which the Regional Air Quality Council works to address and reduce ozone levels, through developing plans to improve air quality and running programs that benefit the Front Range region.

This week on Healthier Together: Larimer County’s Public Health Podcast, Mike Silverstein, RAQC’s Executive Director, and Kelsey Simpkins, Communications and Program Manager, are featured in an informational and educational “ground-level ozone 101” conversation with podcast hosts Tom and Joanna, to explain how ground-level ozone forms, how it impacts our health, and steps we can all take to improve our air.
