The Mow Down Pollution – Lawn Mower Exchange program offers deep discounts to people who choose to recycle and replace their gas-powered lawn mowers and lawn and garden tools with rechargeable, electric lawn mowers and lawn and garden tools. Discounts are also available to those who do not recycle a gas powered lawn mower.
The Regional Air Quality Council sponsors both onsite and online electric lawn mower purchase options. Our onsite programs are held in the Denver Metro area and the Fort Collins/Larimer County area. These onsite programs offer same day recycling of a gas-powered lawn mowers and lawn and garden equipment and same day purchase of a new, rechargeable, electric lawn mower and lawn and garden tools.
