Kay Kelly
Kay Kelly is the alternate for the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). She is the Chief of Innovative Mobility at CDOT. She leads teams focused on transit, passenger rail, electrification, connected and automated vehicles and transportation demand management efforts. Prior to joining CDOT, Kay served as the Transportation Climate Change Specialist at the Colorado Energy Office, where she worked across agency boundaries on transportation and climate issues, including the transportation elements of the state’s Greenhouse Gas Roadmap. Kay also has experience in the Federal Government and the private sector serving as a senior project leader in the Center for Integrated Mobility Sciences at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, a regional manager with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office and a program analyst for Ford Motor Company’s Scientific Research Lab.
