EPA Fact Sheet on Proposal to Revise the NAAQS for Ozone

On January 6, 2010, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed to strenthen the national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) for ground-level ozone, the main component of smog.  The proposed revisions are based on scientific evidence about ozone and its effects on people and the environment.  Download the Fact Sheet
