Colorado Department of Public Health and Environmental: A state agency that seeks to advance Colorado’s health and protect the places where we live, learn, work, and play. Among other responsibilities, this includes the implementation of air quality programs, the monitoring of daily ambient pollutant levels, and the compliance of air pollution sources in Colorado with state and federal law through its Air Pollution Control Division.
